Just off Cr 434 is where these gay hill school use to be at. A must see. where i had the mico at there lots of wasp. when going to the water well be carefull. I well later put a sign sheet up. where no wasp are. well update soon. injoy it a great place

Gay Hill School

Rockdale

Established about 1870 as a one room schoolhouse. In 1896 first elected school trustees:
J. C. King
T. J. Eiland
H. J. Alford
In 1910 it was enlarged to a two room schoolhouse
In 1929 a three room schoolhouse was constructed to teach two years of High School
Consolidated with Rockdale schools in Sept. 1946
