Geocache Description:

This ammo can cache is placed under Missouri Department of Conservation special use permit 0902. Thanks to Wildlfe Management Biologist Frank Loncarich for that. The area is closed from 10 pm to 4 am so do not try it then. This is a Park and Hike.

When you drive to this location, you will find the Paris Springs Public Fishing Access on old Route 66. There is only one parking area and there is really no place else to park. You do have to cross a low water bridge to get to the parking lot. Its no problem unless there has been a big rain or flooding. Park in the lot and then hike to this one. Its a bit more than 500 feet from the Log It cache and you can follow the mowed trail. on to this one The last 80 feet or so will have bushwhacking and terrain issues. Ticks and chiggers will probably be present during summer. Also, when I was placing this cache I met up with a big snake. It was big but not unfriendly.
Since this is a conservation area, please use due caution during hunting seasons. In fact, if it is opening day just don't even try and at other times, use common sense. This one could be done day or night as long as you don't try when the area is closed. FTF will find a smiling green George. This ammo can has an assortment of trade items.

This cache has been challenging for some to find - apparently the rock cliff causes the signal to bounce around. The cache is to the right (north) of the cave.
