Located at Briones Reservoir. Start at the Bear Creek Staging Area on Bear Creek Road. Go thru the gate to the right/east as you enter the parking area. Take the Oursan Trail uphill and counter clockwise around the reservoir. Inexpensive EBMUD Trail Hiking Permit required, which can be obtained on the EBMUD website under "recreation", and also available at various locations.
