De naam van deze listing zal velen doen denken aan een andere plek in Utrecht dan deze cache. Maar Tivoli was zeker tot in de jaren 50 een gebouw aan de Kruisstraat.
Many people will think of another place in Utrecht by hearing the name of this listing. But Tivoli was until the 50s (or longer?) a building on the Kruisstraat
datering 01/01/1953 - 31/12/1957 (20e eeuw) Gezicht op een gedeelte van de voorgevel van het gebouw Tivoli (Kruisstraat 1) te Utrecht.
Naast gebouw Tivoli lag een park, park Tivoli. Het park Tivoli is in 1929 als bouwterrein verkocht.
Next to the building Tivoli was a park, park Tivoli. Park Tivoli was sold as construction property in 1929.

Naast gebouw Tivoli stond de Rijks Hogere Burgerschool en deze staat er nog steeds! Thans in gebruik als Parnassos, muziekschool van de Universiteit Utrecht en huisvesting voor buitenlandse studenten.
Next to building Tivoli was a highschool, which is still there! Currently in use as Parnassos, music school of the University of Utrecht and housing for international students.

Nu is de Tivoli Tuin, achter Parnassos, een klein stadparkje, onderhouden door vrijwilligers. Toegankelijk van 9.00 tot zonsondergang. Als je geluk hebt word je tijdens het zoeken muzikaal begeleid door studenten van de universteit. Neem rustig plaats op een bankje en luister naar de kikkers in de vijver!
Now the Tivoli Garden is a small city park, behind Parnassos, maintained by volunteers. Open from 9.00 am to dusk. If you are lucky you can hear music from students during searching. Take a seat on a bench and listen to the frogs in the pond!
Parkeren kan naast de Tuin, inrit vanaf de Kruisstraat tegenover 'Parkeergarage Kruisstraat' (linksaf bij de brievenbus).
You can park next to the Garden, enter from Kruisstraat opposite 'Parking Garage Kruisstraat' (turn left at the letterbox).

Due to hibernating frogs and loiterers (..) the cache has been moved twice; last in November 2012.
