Geocache Description:

A paddling cache on Milldam Creek.

The third stop on a string of caches along western Milldam Creek. This cache is located west of Blackwater Road in a very scenic cypress swamp. It is about a 3 mile round trip to find the 3 caches west of Blackwater Road. This section of the creek is small and calm. I believe this creek use to go all the way to Northwest River Park, but I didn't explore the area past this cache site.
The water level was at 6 inches on the meter west of the road and the cache can be easily retrieved without leaving your boat. Parking is available along the side of Blackwater Road near the bridge. Launching can be pretty tricky so be careful. If the water level is above the 1 foot mark you most likely will not be able to paddle under the bridge.

Congratulations to Vabikerider on the FTF.
