Simple cache of a typical type - this area just needed one!
This unusual section of the road is due to a slippage of the road/hillside a few years ago - it was easier to reroute the road than to repair the slip itself.
This cache is a perfect beginner cache. It contains a log and pencil - there is room for small trade items or TB's only.
Safe parking well off the road is available very nearby. Though the map makes it look nearby, note that this is NOT at all accessible from the freeway, so don't even think about stopping along there.
**Alas, having moved out of the area, I can no longer maintain this cache. Rather than archive it, however, I have turned ownership and control of it to tech42...a fine cacher that I completely trust to treat this like one of his own (and he has many). Thank you, tech42! (I will be by periodically to pick up the new caches in the area and to visit old haunts.)**
