Hidden a short walk down an abandoned road. Probably not the best cache to find on a rainy or snowy day!
This road was closed and abandoned years ago, as you will note from the condition of it. There is ample safe parking at the head of the road - do not attempt to drive any further than the obvious parking place.
The cache itself is a small lock-n-lock box containing a logbook and pencil. There is room for a few small items.
At the time of hiding this cache, it also contains three similar TB's that the cache owner is launching on their maiden journeys.
**Alas, having moved out of the area, I can no longer maintain this cache. Rather than archive it, however, I have turned ownership and control of it to tech42...a fine cacher that I completely trust to treat this like one of his own (and he has many). Thank you, tech42! (I will be by periodically to pick up the new caches in the area and to visit old haunts.)**
