Buck Creek Bridge Traditional Cache

Traveling along Highway 34 out of Waldport there is a road sign to Five Rivers, Lobster Valley, and the Fisher Bridge that warranted investigation. With the help of YahotsWalker, I decided to make a caching run to celebrate my 64th Birthday and left behind four new caches.
Continuing on up the Five Rivers highway there is a turn off that goes up Buck Creek, which is one of the five creeks that contribute to the river. Cherry, Alder, and Cougar Creeks lie south of Fisher and are the other contributors to the drainage area and were not visited on this trip.
The Buck Creek covered bridge was a 36-foot span built in 1924 and has since been replaced by the concrete span located about two miles up the road from the turn-off. After crossing the bridge, past the two-mile marker is a large pull off area that provides parking and turn-around space. The terrain rating is due to the steep road-bank and/or the nettles and ground vines along the lower approach.
CONGRATULATIONS to putterer for the FTF!
