Geocache Description:

Well camo'd peanut butter jar in Chevalier Woods F.P.

Cache is located near parking in Catherine Chevalier Woods Forest Preserve.

Chevalier was the second wife of Alexander Robinson (Che-che-pin-qua), who was the Chief of the Potawatomi, Chippewa, and Ottawa Indians. This land was part of the reservation granted him by the Treaty of Prairie Du Chien.

While walking the paths in this preserve I noticed several bird feeders throughout this section of the woods. Also photographers were about today snapping pictures of the birds. I thought this would be a great site for my "birding" cache.

Please replace the cache gently back into its camo when you are through!
