Forty Fort Cemetery Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the cemetery and therefor should be looked for during daylight hours only. Please be respectful of all the grave sites, there will be no need to walk on or near any.

This cache is hidden in a cemetery with a LOT of history. June 23, 1972 hurricane Agnes broke through the dike here and 2,500 grave sites were washed away. The Rev. George Peck D.D. 8-8-1797 / 5-20-1876 is buried here as well as Col. Nathan Denison, 1741-1809. While you look for this cache, make sure you look around, I'm sure you'll be fascinated by all the history here.
