No longer a multicache
Definitely stay on the Ives Trail until you reach the Saddle, only then semi-bushwhack, but NOT before.
Saddle: N 41 20.826 W 73 28.571
Elevation at the cache is about 925’
Not in the cairn.
Alive and well as of 12/4/14.
PARKING: At the Wooster Mountain Shooting Range on the west side of Route #7
DIRECTIONS:
Walk south along the highway, or just in the woods,and climb the steps to reach a point 30 paces north of the crosswalk and high above the highway. Look for an Ives trail marker on a tree at N 41 20.821 W 73 28.169, about 4 paces from the top of the grassy slope.
Follow the Ives Trail relentlessly uphill and generally west.
You needn’t be paranoid. The gunshots you hear come from target shooting at the Wooster Mountain Shooting Range.
