This Travel Bug Inn is accessible from a major highway. It is intended for exchanges only but we welcome visits from cachers anytime!
This is our first TB Inn. It was set up as our Distractable Blue Jay TB's nest from where his journey will begin. We hope that fellow cachers will respect the guidelines we have listed.
NOTE: After almost 5 years since the Inn first opened its doors, we wish to say, "Thanks to all of you who have made our Inn what it is! Thanks also for the blue ribbons! Encouragement is always a nice thing!"
Our intent was to make it easy to find but not easily spotted. It is located along the Ironton Rail to Trail just off Route 145 north of the Lehigh Valley Mall. Turn at the Sheetz station.
Please follow the following guidelines, because an empty inn is depressing and no fun for anyone.
1. We enourage you to leave a Travel Bug or Geo Coin when you take one.
2. If you want to drop off a Travel Bug or Geocaching Coin without picking one up that is fine.
3. Enter in the log book all TBs & Coins picked up and dropped off.
4. Enter in the online web sites all TBs & Coins picked up or dropped off as soon as possible, all owners like to see where their TBs and Coins are.
5. If you have a specific goal for your Travel Bug or Coin be sure it is written out and attached or placed in a plastic bag with the TB or Coin, so other cachers will know if they can help you towards your goal.
This cache is essentially for trackable items, but feel free to sign the log and get credit for your find just please consider not taking a bug if you didn’t put one in.
Your hosts are Litehaus and Summershowers33, the Soaring Together Team, who will be checking on their guests periodically, assuring they are safe and comfortable. Uploaded images of your adventures with the TBs are encouraged and very much appreciated.
As always, be careful of muggles. They are plentiful here. Stealth is vital. Make sure the cache is well hidden from all angles when you leave.
