7.15. Archive or unarchive a geocache
Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

I was at the the opening of the 2009 Walking Season when I met Bob from Elsewhere, the renowned no-GPS cache finder. We decided this area deserved a cache or two. This is my contribution.

William Lillecrapp formed the town of Eden Valley in 1864 where he bought land from the South Australian Company and sub divided his land to form the township. The first homestead built in Eden Valley was Rushlea Homestead, which is now Fernfield Wines Cellar Door and still owned and operated by the Lillecrapp family - 5th generation.

Environmentally, Eden Valley is an undulating upland plain on metasediments with broad interfluves and occasional higher hills. The cover is mainly open parkland over sown pastures, with some pine plantations and vineyards. Sheep, and beef or dairy cattle are grazed on the pastures.
