I remember walking round the court square sidewalk
Lookin' in windows at things I couldn't want

< This offset cache is in honor of time gone by, when downtown Newnan and the area around the court square was a bussling area and the "Little Man" stores were all Newnan had, and needed.
The first stage of this cache will take you to the court square in downtown Newnan and the former site of Lee King Drugstore. This establishment served many a soda, banana split, lunch plate, and smiles to the people of Newnan until the 1980's. For several decades it was part of a busy downtown district where Newnan residents did most of their shopping (with the exception of a "rare" big trip to Atlanta). Some of the other downtown establishments (a few that still remain, many that have moved on) were Mansours, Morgan Jewelry, Mann's, Johnson Hardware, Kesslers, Belk, WCOH Radio Studios, Alamo Theater, Woolsworth, and McConnell's Five and Dime.
