There is a wide shoulder, that can accomodate a couple of cars, close to the cache. Traffic whizzes by, so be cautious. The hide is on the same side of the road as the parking space. I had a real hard time getting good readings on this. But I am pretty sure they are good now. No hint until after FTF. Then if it is harder than anticipated I will consider adding one.
8/16/2011. Came up here with clippers in hand and did some major pruning in area. There is a guardrail now, but there is ample room to walk behind it.
Congratulations to two finders keepers for FTF.
6/16/2013. We raked, pruned and dug thru 3 feet of holly and blackberry cuttings and did not find the ammo can. We changed the container to an Emerald Nut plastic container. It is off the ground now so, hopefully, the monster brush cutting machine will not find it next year.
