Since the Financial Collapse erupted in October 2008, businesses across the nation have faced challenging times. This cache series highlights the financial crisis and its effect in the Bay Area.
Automobile Dealerships have been hit hard by the financial collapse. For example, the week prior to when this cache was placed, President Obama effectively took over General Motors ("Government Motors"), firing the CEO and beginning a bankrupcy proceeding / merger program for the ailing company.
This particular dealership (not a GM dealership) has "moved" to another location, combining its sales energies with other related dealorships, probably in an attempt to cut overhead and to hopefullly save at least some area jobs. Nonetheless this once prosperous looking facility sits empty. En route to this lot you pass about 5 other dealerships, all currently still in business...but the winds of time may unfortunately change that as the economic crisis continues.
This cache:
Is a small camoed 3x3x3" rubbermaid box and is thus big enough for small swag and some geocoins and TBs. There are lots of options...You'll have to figure out whether its magnetic or just camoed....Spoiler is a dead giveaway.
