Geocache Description:

About a 15 minute walk into Braehour forest, just slightly into the clearing. Note: much of this forest has been felled now but the cache is still there if you look hard enough!

If you dont know where Braehour is, then head for Westerdale from Halkirk. Just after the old quarry (Dalmore) on the left hand side (you'll also see a signpost for beat 9 and 10 of the Thurso River - www.thursoriver.co.uk), on the right hand side is a small forest and a track leading up to it.

Park at the gate, being careful not to obstruct. There is a gate on the left for human access - be sure to put back on the snib! Simply follow the road and enjoy. When you get near the burn which flows beneath the road in a black pipe you are nearly there :)

There are lots of goodies (mainly for kids) in the cache - enjoy!

Email me if you get stuck - clyne@flexihosts.co.uk
