Another short flat walk this time along the flood defences of the river Idle. Be warned the roads are private, no cars beyond the white gates as they are often locked.
Location. – On the banks of the river Idle. A popular place for bird spotting.
Cache - A 2L clip lock container containing a log book, pen pencil and a few girly items.
Parking – Gringley pumping station at the top of Carr road
Food & Drink - Gringley, Everton and Drakeholes.
Terrain – Grassy flood defences. Good for mountain bikes and off road buggies, but can be exposed to the wind.
