This should be a fairly easy find, following a short hike through the trees. It can be a bit spongy at times, but not unduly so.
The cache is located at a public site that will provide you with a beautiful view of Little Platte Lake. If you watch and listen closely, you just might see or hear one of the resident loons. If you have a boat, it's also a great place to start a quiet day on the water. This is a 30 cal. ammo can with a log book, pencil, and a stash of trade items. It also has a Martin VanBuren $1 gold coin for the 1st to find.
