Ein wunderbarer erster Halt für eine Kaffeefahrt – A beautiful stop for a short trip with coffee and cake
Wenn Frieda & Anneliese auf Tour gehen, muss es nicht immer mit NB Traumreisen sein. Früher konnte man hier direkt von den Hamburger Landungsbrücken mit dem Dampfer anlegen und die Sommerfrische oder die Obstblüte im Alten Land genießen. Und im nahen Fährhaus Kirschenland bei einem Stück Kuchen und Kaffee einen Klönschnack halten. Heute legen die Schiffe ein kleines Stück weiter stromabwärts an und ab. Daher könnte man ganz hochtrabend behaupten, dies ist ein kleiner aber feiner LPC. Für die Wassersportler auch nicht so ganz ohne, denn die Überbleibsel des alten Anlegers ragen noch ganz schön weit ins Wasser. Anneliese und Frieda meinen: 1. Aufpassen – die Steine sind ganz schön rutschig! 2. Viele neugierige Gesichter von Sonnenanbetern und Deichläufern könnten das Heben zusätzlich erschweren. When Frieda & Anneliese go on tour, it doesn't always have to be a bus trip with "NB Dreamtours". In the past there existed a ferryboat-service directly from and to Hamburg. It has been a very popular destination for weekend-trips – specially during the famous blossom of the cherry- and apple-trees. The still existing cafe and restaurant behind the dyke is a typical spot for city-people to relax. Today the ferries berth about one mile downstream and the old landing-stage now has its own LPC. Some hints from Anneliese and Frieda: 1. Be very careful and watch your steps – the stones are slippery – really! 2. The tiny little beach nearby is a popular place for families, kids and other curious people of all age.
