I grew up in Trinity, and when I lived here, this road did not exist. We always wished the road went through, but for some reason it just stopped at a dead end. Of course a few years AFTER I moved out of the area, the state decided to cut the road all the way through, making a very nice shortcut from Trinity to High Point.
The cache that you seek is just a simple park and grab hidden by my son as we were in the area en route to a birthday celebration. Depending on the time of day, traffic can be heavy, so be careful!
