Monster Quest series. The final cache has been archived but this and a few other monsters still remain. This cache is located in Long Marsh preserve.
The Swamp Beast, also known as Skunk Ape or Swamp Stalker has reported sightings in the Southern swamps in the United States. Witnesses have described a tall--some six to eight feet--and stocky figure, seemingly half-man, half-ape, covered with long, stringy hair and reddish in color. Most eyewitness reports include a strong odor, likened to rotting eggs, skunk and cow manure--hence the nickname "Skunk Ape." A famous encounter in May 1971 near Fouke Arkansas was chronicled in the low budget 1972 movie The Legend of Boggy Creek.
Cache is a rubbermaid container with various trading items, log book, pen, and a $2 bill for the first to find.
Make sure to get the clue on the back of the log book to help you find the final Monster Quest cache (GC1PM6Z)
