Geocache Description:

One of the Tallest mountains in the Algoma Region.

Before the 1970 Ordinance Survey, Ogidaki was thought to be Ontarios High point. It has since plummeted in status, but is still in the top 10. Ogidaki is the Woods Cree word for mountain.

Using the below waypoints, follow the points below along some old logging roads. Follow it to the Top of the mountain, and enjoy the hike. There is a Fire tower up here that has been modernized and automated.

Total hiking time varies greatly by how far you wish to take your car up the logging roads. Bring water, food, bug spray and bear repellent of your choice.

If you liked this placement, you should enjoy a few of the others i have put out, this will be my 100th!
