Geocache Description:


Greenlee Cemetery Prairie in Henry County is maintained in its natural condition so that present and future generations can see the Illinois landscape as it appeared in the past. It was used as a burial site as early as the 1850's and was formally dedicated in 1988 as a sanctuary for native plants and animals. Prescribed burns have been used for many years to manage the prairie. Visitors are welcome, but please protect the nature reserve by not disturbing or removing anything. The cache you are searching for is hidden outside of the cemetery.
