A flat walk along the flood defences of the river Idle. Be warned some of the roads are private, no cars beyond the white gates as they are often locked.
Location. – On the banks of the river Idle. A popular place for bird spotting.
Cache - A 2L clip lock container containing a log book, pen pencil and a few bits to swap.
Parking – Gringley pumping station at the top of Carr road, Misson and Idle Stop by South Car Farm.
Food & Drink - Gringley village, Everton, Drakeholes and Misson (I think).
Terrain – Grassy flood defences. Good for mountain bikes and off road buggies, but can be exposed to the wind. The footpath has recently been upgraded to a bridleway.
