You knew, didn't you? Traditional Cache
Craftea's Archives: Checked on the cache today with a replacement ready to go, just in case. Well, in this case, nature was more evil than I and there is no longer any way to access the cache. Sorry!

I had a cache
in Haller park before, and when it went missing, I replaced it.
Sadly, that one also went missing and I decided I’d reached my
limit with replacing the cache and archived it.
And there the location sat, devoid of caches.
For a long time.
Till I couldn’t stand it any longer, and I placed a new cache. You
knew I’d not be able to resist this location! It’s one of my
favorite places to bring the kids and the best place for watching
floodwaters come up over the bank and into the playground equipment
and restrooms, in season.
But I had to think… I needed to place a cache that should not need
to be replaced because it’s going to be hard for you, dear cacher,
to find it, and for those muggles out there, impossible! {insert
evil laugh here}.
Ok, so it’s going to be hard to find, but try to enjoy yourself.
Best way to access the cache location is from the park, walk under
the inactive rail road bridge and veer to the right, or the south.
There is a trail of sorts there, but the terrain rating reflects
that there are large boulders you may have to pick your way around.
You can also walk up the hill and over the rail road bed and back
down the east side of the hill to reach the cache. Walking on the
bridge itself is currently not allowed and it is not advised to or
in any way necessary to do so to reach the cache. Someday it will
become part of the Centennial Trail system, but that hasn’t
happened yet.
Have fun!
"We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress
means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in
that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most
progressive."
