Geocache Description:

History Happened Here, “Triple Scoop” a geocache celebrating a little spot that held hope and promise many years ago.

Mining for gold was big in these hills years ago. The mines are everywhere. How did prospectors decide if there was promise in the land? Come to Triple Scoop and see one way they began their search.

There is a phrase I learned that might apply here – three times over.
Some Will, Some Won’t, So What. . .Next!
Some digs pan out and some crap out. You be the judge which was the result of these “scoops.”

Take the west end of the Wintu Trail, through the yellow pipe gate as if heading towards Meiners Loop.

NO NEED to go through any PO. Easy trail.
