Geocache Description:

This is a true story

It's become an honored tradition for us to have lunch after a day of geocaching. In fact, we start talking about where we are going and what we will be eating long before the hunting is done. It's just as important to find that restaurant as it is to find that ammo can.

Last December (2008), this place was high on our list. After some serious consideration I ordered the sandwich I had been thinking about for the last half of our hike that day.

Of course I had to have fries

They looked so good on the other diners' plates and the enticing aroma was creating hunger pangs I could not control. In my mind I was already savoring the hot, salty crunchiness slathered with ketchup. My order came, but the fries were missing. Thinking it would only be a few minutes before they arrived, I waited patiently, glancing occasionally at the pickup counter.

Then one of the other cachers noticed a well-dressed man at the counter picking up an order to go. He was wearing Ray-Bans, a 2-way radio earpiece and a gun! He and his entourage were SS picking up lunch for "44". Silently and swiftly they whisked away several large boxes filled with burgers and MY FRIES!

After we had finished our sandwiches and were ready to leave, they brought us the fries. By then our appetites were satiated and the lust for fries was just a memory...

To mark this rubber slippah trail of 44, there's a cache in the secret parking area in the rear of the building. (It's not necessary to go inside the establishment to find the cache)

So that you don't have trouble getting your order, I will give you a little help. Bring a pen and your order can be picked up about 20 feet from the nearest light post, under the "charcoal pile". That should keep it "hot" until you get there. But don't try to look for any fries here, since you might have already have guessed, Obama ate my fries!

***NEW FOR 2011*** The cache container is now "supersized" to accomodate small trade items. Do not overstuff! The log is inside a waterproof pill cylinder in the container! As always please cover well with the surrounding camo material before you leave
