Geocache Description:

Sitting in a sun-dappled patch of feathery grass, brushed on occasion by a subtle breeze, you barely notice. Oblivious to your surroundings, you've been carried away by the unfolding tale each page of your book reveals....

Cache is located in a little micro-park behind the Woodinville library. GPSr signal can be spotty due to the trees. You're looking for a .30 cal ammo can, reachable from the trail. No bushwhacking, but we wouldn't suggest this wearing pantyhose.

Perfect for a quick stop during lunch or after work if you're stuck in Avondale traffic. When the sun is shining, this hidden little park is a green, shady oasis. Parking on site. A few park benches and small picnic tables make this a cool place to bring the kids, and introduce them to the library.

Since the theme of this cache is books, we decided to "release" a couple of BookCrossing books. If you aren't familiar with it, check out www.bookcrossing.com. There are 3 books inside. Feel free to "catch" one, read, and "release" - we hope you'll log your catch online.

If that's not your bag, baby, we've got shwag! Lovely parting gift for FTF is a $5 McDonald's gift card!

Cache is initially stocked with a brand new silicone cover for your Zune, other assorted nicks, trinkets, and knacks; and of course the de rigueur log book and pencil.

This is our first hide, so we're learning. Let us know what you think. Finally, a quick shout-out to all the dedicated cachers who have taken the time to place some fun hides - and in doing so, have shown us some unique spots we've too long overlooked!

Hope you enjoy!

~~~ Congratulations to flip1 for First to Find! ~~~
NOTE - A few people have mentioned that the coordinates are off about 50 feet or so. We tried to get the best reading possible with our GPSr, but with those pesky trees we could only get something like a 30 foot accuracy. Tried at different times of the day, too. If any kindhearted cacher out there has a GPSr with a bit more horsepower, we'd appreciate if you' would post the coordinates you get. Thanks, to everyone for the great comments and feedback!
