Geocache Description:

First installment of a series of caches to lead you up the fire roads of Griffith Park.

Now that Griffith Park has experienced significant regrowth since the fire of 2007 that destroyed 800 acres, it's time to repopulate the caches on this side of the hill.

Cache is a cammoed Altoids tin. Careful of satellite bounce. I adjusted my initial coords to reflect what Google Maps showed me was the right location.

Be sure to check out GOOGLE MAPS SATELLITE IMAGES, to see how the area was devastated by the fire.
