The history of Mortimores woodland can be traced back to the
twelfth century; at the time it formed part of the Royal Forest of
Pewsham. Since this time, if not before, the wood has been subject
to management by mankind. The combination of antiquity and human
activity give Mortimores Wood its status of semi-natural Ancient
Wood. No woodland remains in Britain which has not been altered by
human activity, and so this small wood provides one of the few
remaining links with our ancient past. Plans are now in place to
conserve this remnant for future generations to enjoy.
The given coordinates are where you can park nearby and are
unrelated to the cache location. To determine the cache
coordinates, you will need to solve the wheel balancing
puzzle.
Good Luck

Puzzle, courtesy of tofska
This wheel would like to spin as fast as it can
without any wobbling. To do that, it would need to be perfectly
balanced. There are ten pits spread evenly around the outside of
the wheel, each containing a number of shaped weights. Each shape
has a distinct weight value between zero and nine - ie, no two
shapes share the same value. The sum of the weights in one pit must
equal the sum of the weights in the pit on the opposite side of the
wheel. Once each shape's weight has been determined, substitute it
into the coordinates below for the location of the cache.
