Cache is at the end of the bike path that connects all the way south to Redondo Beach. North end of the State Beach parking lot between Sunset Beach and Will Rogers State Beach. There are always bicyclers resting hear preparing to ride back south and enjoying the view. Often there are dolphins swimming by.
Unless you walk. cycle or surf in, there is a fee for parking. You may try to tell the parking attendant to let you have 10 minutes to find something you lost. It worked for me:-)
This cache is a small Geocache container. Big enough for a few bus and a pencil.
Will Rogers State Beach extends one and three-quarters mile along the shore. The park features swimming, surfing and skin diving. A bike path that begins at this beach is part of the South Bay Bicycle Trail and extends 19.1 miles along the shore to Redondo State Beach in Torrance. A number of movies and TV shows have been filmed at this beach. The park features swimming, surfing and skin diving. Facilities include volleyball courts, playground and gymnastic equipment, as well as a bike path and walkway.
If you have extra time, visit the beautiful grounds of Will Rogers State Historic Park near by.
