The Newfoundland cache is located in Oak Street Park. You can park on either Oak Street or Hickory Street. This park is quite quiet; however there is a playground near so beware of muggles. Use stealth when looking for this cache as it has been muggled in the past even though the location of the cache is almost out of sight. Please replace the cache where it was originally required so that others may enjoy the challenge of finding this cache.
A quick note about all the DNF’s. This cache was muggled twice in the first week when many people were out looking for it. Please place it back where you found it to avoid another muggling.
The “Across Canada Series” was designed as a 11 stage multi-cache that takes you through several parks in the south end of Guelph. The ten provinces are represented by micro caches (35mm film canisters) that have been placed in various locations and are supported by a small copper wire. The micro caches are all covered in brown duct tape for camouflage.
Each micro has a letter written on the inside of the cap which will be needed in order to solve the final cache location. There is also a log book and a pencil located in each cache.
Once you have found all of the provinces, plug the letters and their corresponding number into the mathematical equation in the Across Canada – Canada Cache final to locate the cache location.
