E 153 27.730. This cache is located along a lovely walking track along the beach. You can continue this walk over Big Burleigh Mountain, through rainforest and onto Burleigh Beach. Take your dog for a walk and a swim in the off leash area. You could have lunch at the Tallebudgera Surf Club and there is a playground for the kids.

I have placed this cache in memory of lost youth, when we didn’t know the damage tanning can do to our health. A lot of South East Queenslander’s would have visited this beach on school camp at the nearby Tallebudgera Fitness Camp or rocked on at the Playhouse Nightclub when they where older and woke up on the beach after a big night out. Our family camped at the nearby camping grounds when we were kids and we fished and swam in the river.
Remember to swim in between the flags at this patrolled beach and slip on a shirt, slop on some sunscreen and slap on a hat.
This is a favourite spot for Chester the Geo Border Collie to have a swim and a run off leash in the sand and meet new doggie friends.
