In an area of calm, close to the large housing estate of Emersons Green and near the Avon Ring Road yet very much in the country.
This is a traditional cache. It is recommended as part of a family ramble, though there is a stile to be crossed. Please keep to the paths to find the cache. The cache is about 12 or so paces from the path.
Once you have found the cache, there is a playground very close by at N51 29.044, W002 28.009 and refreshments available at N51 28.916, W002 28.299.

You can travel by bus to near the location: use the 689 Wessex Connect service between Yate and Bristol, alighting at Shortwood. If you are coming by car, we suggest you park on the main road - stop somewhere near the telephone box, just up from the Bridge Inn.
