Castle Lake - Reborn Traditional Cache

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
As the original Castle Lake cache has been archived, We've decided to replace the cache. The original was our first Cache find - and seemed quite popular so it would a shame for it to die.
This is, however a New Cache, replacing (and placed at the same coordinates as) the old one so those who have already claimed Castle Lake may claim this one too.
Dolwyddelan Castle was built between 1210 and 1240 by Llywelyn the Great to guard a pass through Snowdonia.
The castle (£2 admission) is signposted from car park, BUT, you do not have to visit the castle grounds to find the cache.
You DO NOT need to climb any fences or get close to the waters edge. There are clearly signed danger areas close by - you do not need to endanger yourself to get the cache, but please keep a close eye on junior cachers and pets if you have them with you.
