Geocache Description:

This should be a nice cache to combine with others in the area. You cannot see the cache. At ground zero, you will have to think about the possible places where one could hide a cache. Prince George #3 is located in a big beautiful city park close to our school. Parking is plentiful at the Vanier library.

This cache is in recognition of our 2009 YMCA Engagement exchange with the IRAY youth group from Prince George, British Columbia. As part of our hosting week, we are planning a big day of geocaching with our twins from Prince George.

The third in our series of hides celebrating the YMCA JVC-IRAY 2009 Youth Exchange. We found that the area around our school is a little underserviced for geocaches. This cache should be an easy find and should be accessible in all seasons.

In order to increase the challenge, the size of this cache is not disclosed on purpose, but if you really want to know, then you should decrypt the hint. Please do not try and find the cache after dark as we believe city parks are closed after dark unless otherwise stated.

This particular area around the old Vanier City Hall includes a Library, City Building, Sports Fields, a Sugar Bush and lots of cacheable terrain. I think we could even hide a few more in this area. In the past we did a lot of map and compass and orienteering here; needless to say, a suitable transition has been made to the sport of Kings; Geocaching.

Please be very careful as you replace the cache exactly as you found it. Get the adult in your group to do this.

Enjoy the hunt, and the other caches in the area, feel free to check back in the future for possible Prince George spin offs.
