My favorite sport Traditional Cache
virtualdavid: The construction in the area has not only wiped out the geocache, it has obliterated the general vicinity. Its a big project and will probably take a year or more to complete. I doubt the same cache concept will work when everything is done, the terrain will have changed too much. So I'm retiring this one.

A small camo in the Stanford sports complex
You are on the eastern end of the Stanford sports complex, which runs more or less from here generally northeastwards to El Camino. Nearby are sand volleyball and tennis, both fun to watch. Maples Pavillion, home of basketball and court volleyball is across Campus drive. Beyond are extensive swimming and diving facilities, baseball, softball, field hockey, soccer, ultimate, football, track, and other facilities.
I've enjoyed walking through the fields to find the less common rugby, lacrosse and cricket going on. Fans an on side are always eager to explain what is going on.
A wander through this area on a weekend makes an enjoyable couple hours outing. And there are a number of caches around in case the "traditional" sports cannot hold your interest.
My personal favorite of these sports, after geocaching, is volleyball. What is yours? Please note in your log.
