Busy Lissy Bunch: Retrieved the container from beneath and between a blockage of snails - lovely! Time to go as no time these days for maintenance.

Geocache Description:

This cache provides a good excuse to detour from the Wassand Walk series to get a view of Wassand Hall and perhaps visit the hall if it is one of its open weekends.

Wassand Hall which is a fine Regency House that has been in one family ownership since 1530. The house, gardens and parks are open on selected days during the summer, when teas are available in the fine conservatory in Wassand's beautfully planted walled gardens. If you like homemade cakes then the teas served in the orangery are worth popping by for. For more details on opening times see www.wassand.co.uk.

Please ensure that you follow all signs erected on the estate as there is no right of access to the mere itself and the area is a site of Special Scientific Interest. If doing this as a cache and dash then please note that parking is only allowed at the end of the lane nearest the B1244 Hornsea Road at N53Deg 54.176 W000Deg 13.132. On open weekends ONLY the Hall allows parking in a field further up the lane.

Congratulations to Pharmjoe on his FTF on this cache - first two FTFs in one day.
