Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Muddy creek Cemetery Cache. I feel that a cache should be placed here, if not for the historical significance of this area, then at least for the peacefulness of it.
This cemetery contains the remains of the Wigton family,Pennsylvania's last Indian Massacre at the hands of Sam Mohawk, whom was also the first person hanged in Butler county. To learn more about this historical event, you could either view the pictures I posted or go out and find this cache, (which is highly recommended). This is a low muggle area; the cache is on the upper level of the cemetery. This is a small cache for small items only. There is a parking spot near the entrance on the left, and the cache is a short easy walk through the cemetery. Careful of what trees you grab or lean on near GZ, some have thorns sticking out of them.
