Geocaching is a great activity for the whole family. You can turn off the TV and the video games and go for a hike with the kids and the dogs. We recently cancelled our cable TV and “tuned out” in favour of doing things in the “real world.” We’ve placed this cache to commemorate our rejection of the screen culture and its negative impact on family life. Inside, there’s a “no screen” theme, with things to do away from the TV and video games. The whole Fish_R_Us family (dogs included) hid it together. So take the whole family with you to find this one!
Allowable screens, as long as you spend the majority of the time looking around you rather than at your screen:
1. The screen you used to get the cache information.
2. The screen on your GPS.
