Geocache Description:

Near the entrance to the Lee Creek Nature Reserve.

The Lee Creek area is located on the south shore of the Great Salt Lake, approximately 12 miles west of Salt Lake City. Audubon manages the 305 acre Lee Creek Area as part of a larger complex called the South Shore Preserve.

With the help of many partners, they work on transforming this area into a healthy, vibrant place for wildlife, and create a place where we can experience the natural beauty and wonder of the Great Salt Lake through wildlife-compatible activities such as sunset viewing, bird watching, photography, and nature walking.

Even though the water is a long way away from the entrance right now, there are usually several varieties of birds in the area. Take time for a little walk!
