This cache is close to Interstate 90 but do not stop on the Interstate to get the cache. It is unsafe and you risk getting a ticket (with a large fine) if you try accessing this cache from the Interstate. Use Exit #260. Go a little north to the first intersection, turn right and follow your GPS.
Parking is very near the cache. Once you find the cache hoof it over to the marker (#9) for the Lewis and Clark Trail You will get the historical perspective of this spot from the marker. This is one of many Lewis and Clark Trail markers in the area.
You can get extra smilies for posting pictures of yourself riding the nearby buffalo. Triple smilies if you post pictures with other cachers along on your adventure. The very tame bison constantly roam the area and are very cooperative for photo ops.
The cache used to be on the hoof of one of the buffalo. However, this proved to be a location where many containers were muggled, weed wacked, or flipped off when the bison move. No pencil was placed in the cache so bring a writing instrument. No room for trade items. Hope you enjoy your adventure. If you are traveling, enjoy your trip. Keep on caching.
