This should be a quick park and grab. It is located on a quiet dirt country road. Should be muggle free.
This cache is named for Homer Hickam who was portrayed in the movie October sky. He was the leader of the so called "Rocket Boys" of Coalwood West Virginia. He is a retired NASA engineer, and has worked on many versions of the U.S. Space Program. Why is this cache named after him you ask? The expansive fields you will see around you is where our local Rocket club ( another family hobby of ours ) flys once a month during the months when crops are not actively growing. Twice a year, there are large rocket launches that usually bring hundreds of visitors to this area and as many as 700 rocket flights in a weekend.
