Geocache Description:

The first stage of this cache is in a hilly cemetery. The second stage is flat with a close parking lot.

To find this cache you will need to start in a cemetery. Note that the cemetery closes at dark so DO NOT go looking for this one at night or before daylight. Please stay on the roads with your car..they are paved, and be respectful of the fact that you are in a cemetery. MANY of my ancestors and friends are buried here. NOTHING is in the cemetery except a particular grave stone that will give you the clues to find the cache. The grave stone is for Eliphalet T. Grover, a Confederate soldier who died near here in 1863. Exactly where or how is unknown, at least by me, at this time as there were no Civil War battles near here. You will need to find his grave at: N 42 32.521 W 077 40.808. Then using the information on his grave stone to help locate the cache as follows: Take the first seven numbers in his birth and death date to help you fill in the Northerlies N first number in his birth date + 3, second number in his birth date -6, this will give you the degrees. Then for the minutes, third number in his birth date + 1, Fourth number in his birth date -4, First number in his death date - 1, Second number in his death date - 5, Third number in his death date as is. For the westerlies use his wife's birth and death date as follows: W first number in her birth date - 1, second number in her birth date -1, third number in her birth date + 4, That is for the degrees. Now for the minutes, fourth number in her birth date +2, first number in her death date as is, second number in her death date - 7, third number in her death date - 1, fourth number in her death date - 2. When you get to the cache site there is a place to park your car off the highway. Watch out for muggles, and please put the cache back where you found it.NOTE...The Nano cache disappeared and it has been replaced by a small RED cache container. I didn't have a log book that small with me when I left the new cache and will have to come back with one after mid February 2011...so if you find it before then, maybe a photo of you with the cache would do...if you take a photo and post it, that the photo in such a way as to not give away the location of the cache. Thanks!! Rebel Doctor CAUTION - A FELLOW GEOCACHER JUST NOTICED SOME POISON IVY NEAR THE CACHE.
