Boondock Trolling (East Auckland) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Curglaff: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

An easy cache in the newly redeveloped Shelly Bay reserve.

I have been coming to Shelly Bay for 26 years.

It's a quiet hidden beach that is really only visited by locals. At high tide the rocks are suitable for a little jumping and swimming.

Be sure to check out the boat shed. The shed was first built by the Porters circa 1945. It has gone through several sets of hands and has been restored and vandalised as many times.

At low tide you can walk the coast of Beachlands from this location.

This cache is a 1L Camo Sistema with a few items for swap as well as a logbook and pencil.

Since this is my first cache feedback is welcomed.
