On one of the designated paths round Crathes Castle.
You can choose either the green or red marked path to follow on this loop round the top end of the Crathes Castle estate. These are well laid out and marked paths, but due to the terrain are probably not brilliant for buggies. The caches that are up here are set on the lesser used of the paths [another reason for placing them up here.] Following the green path up past the ice house also allows you the chance to take in the viewpoint out over 'Caroline's Garden' and to hills in the distance. To get this cache either follow on round from 'International firs' cache, or from the tearoom. This cache is hidden just off the main path and up on a rocky knoll. Thanks once again goes to the Scottish National Trust Rangers for permission in placing these caches. There is an unactivated geocoin in this cache for someone to take.
