Geocache Description:

Very well camo'd film cannister located along a nice country road at the base of Columbia Mountain.

This is a nice drive in the evening on the surrounding back roads, tons of deer and often times elk are out feeding. The cache is located before the dense trees and rocks of the canyon. I recommend you access this road off of Monte Vista Drive. The other direction through the trees is almost impassible without a 4X4. The cache is also located closer to Monte Vista. No need to cross the fence, and bring your own pencil.

On clear days you have a great view of Teakettle Mountain and with bino's you can often times watch the elk above the river!
