The Green Playground Traditional Cache
sno_man: This was the first hide for my family and I, so I am a bit sad to archive it. The "4 year old" mentioned in the cache write up is now 9. How time flies. Unfortunately, the vegetation in the area has gotten quite bad - I believe the small swamp there is actually getting bigger and trying to take over. Besides which, the log that the cache was hidden in has gotten destroyed since I was here last, I assume by over zealous geo-searchers. I came to check on this one yesterday, and saw all this, and reluctantly decided to let this one go. I hope someone else decides to place a cache in this cute little park. Thanks to all that visited over the years.

Quick easy micro cache in Hubbard Park (North Chili). Park hours are dawn to dusk, NO NIGHT CACHING!!! Please enter the park from Union Street - do not park off Buffalo Road.
The cache name comes from our 4 year old. We drive by this little town park twice a day, and this is one of his favorite spots to stop when we have time. You will see, as you approach, where the name comes from (especially if you think like a 4 year old!). The playground over at the rec center around the corner is the "Yellow Playground", and the one at Fairbanks Road School is the "Rainbow Playground", and this is how he describes where he wants to go play.
The cache itself is not located on or near the play set, but rather in a relatively unused portion of this park. You are looking for a black bison tube.
We recommend boots, as even the grassy areas are still a little soppy. However, there is no need to enter the stream, as several stream crossings are provided.
Stealth will be required, especially before the leaves have come out. There are residences nearby, as well as a very popular coffee spot on Buffalo Road. The general area will provide much better privacy when everything is in bloom.
No hints should be necessary - this one should be pretty easy, and most cachers will figure out the hide location from 30 or 40 feet away.
