This is a wonderful location. Enjoy the view and watch the boats set sail or the sunset in the evening. The City of Chicago can be seen after dark on a clear night.
The parking is $6.00 from Memorial Day thru Labor Day each year. Free parking can be located about 2 miles away if you like to walk the shore line by parking on Colfax Ave. between California and Lake Ave.
